Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They are used to remember preferences, keep you logged in and analyse how websites are used.

koordinat.online primarily uses the browser's localStorage instead of traditional HTTP cookies, as this gives better control and does not require server communication. However, we use session tokens at login.

2. Categories of cookies and localStorage

Necessary Always active

These are required for the platform to function. They cannot be opted out of. They store your session, security token and language selection.

Analytics Optional

Helps us understand how the platform is used — which features are used most, and where users encounter problems. All data is anonymised.

Marketing Not in use

We do not send marketing cookies or advertising tracking cookies. This category is inactive and will be updated if this changes.

3. Specific localStorage keys we use

Key Purpose Type Expires
koordinat-theme Stores your selected colour theme (light/dark) Necessary Never (your preference)

4. Third-party cookies

koordinat.online uses no third-party tracking cookies. We use Google Fonts, which may set browser memory in connection with font loading. We use Leaflet for map display — Leaflet sets no cookies.

We do not use Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Hotjar, Intercom or other third-party analytics platforms.

5. Manage your cookie settings

You can change your cookie settings at any time by clicking here:

You can also delete all localStorage data via your browser's settings under "Clear site data" or similar.
